I’ve send a complaint to the Editor of the Vanderbijlpark Ster, Retha Fitchat, on the 14^th of May regarding the advertising of Adult Entertainment in Vanderbijlpark. The original email follows at the bottom of this email. She referred me directly to you. We are awaiting your response on the issue.

Hello Retha,

We are concerned about the advertisement of the services of prostitution under category 99 Volwasse Vermaak/Adult Entertainment in the Vanderbijlpark Ster of 11-15 May, 2009. I’ve attached the section I’ve referred to.

As part of a Christian community, we oppose all forms of adultery and fornication in our community. Advertising such services promotes practices which we consider to be very serious transgressions according to the Word of God. One way to oppose such practises is to make the accessibility and visibility difficult.

Many Churches and Christians in the community feels the same about this issue. We would appreciate it if you could remove this section from your newspapers (Vaal Weekblad and the other Ster Newspapers the Vaal Triangle).

I write to you as part of the Salt Again online community in our area.
