It won’t be long before Christmas is here, which means everyone’s Christmas Spirit will be high up there. Whether it’s the way you dress, the decorations you place around the house, or even the meals you cook, there is a little but of the holiday spirit out of each one. However, it’s just not the same unless you add a little music to the mix. This is why Christmas Ringtones are must for the season.
Unfortunately when you’re shopping online for Christmas Ringtones, it’s hard to find a reputable company with a good selection. We’ve spent hours researching the various sites available, and the best one we found was Christmasringtunes.com. It has plenty of options available that are both new and old, plus the money they receive goes to help children in Orphanages. You will also find an 800 number as well if you have any questions regarding the site. Then of course the FAQ section will most likely answer most of your questions. Is there a monthly fee? No. Instead your downloads are charged as one-time fees.
You will also see that there are 6 full pages of ringtones you can listen to before you make a purchase. They are categorized by either the title the artist, or the genre category. In all there are 60 different ones to choose from.
No matter if you’re young or old, there are Christmas ringtones available for everyone. You can find everything from “Jesus with Us” by Brad Hooks, “The First Noel” by Gilia, and even “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” by Phil Salazar. If by chance you are looking for newer renditions, we recommend checking out the Rock Christmas music for a newer appeal.
The Christmas Ringtones websites also will tell you what cell phones these ringtones are: compatible with phone models such as the AT&T smt5700. The Blackberry: 8600, 8900, 9900, smt5600, and almost all of the rest. They are also compatible with Cingular’s 2125, 3125, 8125, and the Tilt phones. They also include cell phones from Kyocera, LG, Audiovox, Hitachi, HTC, Huawel, Inmate, LGE, Mitsubishi, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Pantech, Sege, Samsong, Sanyo, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Sprint, T Mobile, Utstarcom, VZW, and ZTE phones. Before you make any purchases, you should go through the list and make sure your phone type is on the list.
If you have any questions at all, there is a FAQ section, where you can get email support for the ringtones and other types of cell phones.

Does God Really Speak Today?
Posted by Matt Tague in Bible on October 7th, 2009
Many people want to know if God still speaks to us today. The Christian answer comes down to two simple alternatives: Yes or no. There are lots of intelligent people out there who disagree on this subject. My own answer is an unqualified YES. Allow me to tell you why.
I am sure we could all think of a wierdo or a TV preacher who says that God is speaking through them when we know it isn’t true. However, just for the sake of the argument, let’s throw that out and discuss the matter sincerely as people who really want to know the answer. In fact, let’s get a little more specific. Let’s ask, “Does God really speak to Christians today apart from the Bible?”
The people that answer “no” to this question usually cite examples of someone claiming that God spoke through them and it was wrong or it harmed a person’s faith. That is a powerful experiential argument. If someone claims to speak for God and they are wrong, it gives God a black eye in the minds of the people around that person. But that is no reason to believe that God doesn?t speak at all anymore.
Think about this: In the history of the church, God has used two instruments to speak to his people: the Bible and the Holy Spirit. We all know people who don’t know how to correctly interpret the Bible, but is that any reason to start believing that God doesn’t speak through the Bible? No way. In a similar way, some people don’t know how to interpret what the Holy Spirit is doing, but that is no reason to believe that he doesn’t speak to us today.
The Bible and the Holy Spirit work together in our lives. We don’t possess a 100% fool proof method of interpreting what the Bible says or what the Holy Spirit says, especially about thorny ethical or moral questions. But just because we can’t be 100% sure of what they say all the time doesn’t mean that they are silent. We can’t be sure of what our best friends say some of the time, but we don’t write them off because we can’t always understand them. The fact that there are abuses or disagreements about what the Holy Spirit is saying doesn’t mean that we should cut off all belief that he speaks today.
A passage from the Bible that supports the speaking role of the Holy Spirit is John 14:6. “I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit who leads you into all truth.” If the Holy Spirit really is God inside of us, then God speaks to us. The Holy Spirit is our comforter, encourager and helper. If he fulfills all these roles in our lives, it makes sense that he speaks to us as he helps us in so many ways. Listen to his voice.
Key Suggestions For Arranging Social Events In Your Company
Posted by Candice Williams in Seminars on September 11th, 2009
Social events have a vital position in the corporate agenda. These events encourage employees to connect and develop deep rooted professional relationships, which subsequently improve the productivity of a company. Given that these social events are so significant, it is essential to attend to all important components in order to ensure their success.
The type of the event to be held is one of the most important factors and it needs a lot of thought. You can incorporate activities as varied as simple banquets and adventurous outings lasting a few days. Frequency of holding social events and the finances available are both crucial factors to be considered when selecting the nature of the event more suited to your particular situation.
After you have chosen the type of event, you need to consider the location or venue for the event. If it is a dinner, then you will have to look for a restaurant which is classy and yet not too expensive. The location of the social event should be such that it ensures a comfortable environment for your employees.
Then you need to think about is the guest list. The size of the group can vary from a single project team to the entire department and the venue should be in accordance to this important requirement. You will also have to consider whether the family members of the employees should be called to the event or not.
Then you must choose the type of food you want served at the social event. Do not forget that various staff members would have diverse preferences, so it is important to have a big menu that will appeal to the tastes of all employees.
Moreover, it is always better to bring in some games at the event to ensure that the employees are engaged in the event completely and they go back home happy. Choose these activities with care, although you will find that the favourite choices for most social events are quiz contests, dancing and karaoke.

The Secrets Of A Successful Event
Posted by Aaron Fisher in Seminars on August 7th, 2009
Managing an event is a complicated and tough task. Not everyone can do a fine job at it and even experts in managing events often find themselves caught in tricky situations. This is because meticulous planning and flawless execution are required to make an event a success. There are numerous factors that need to be taken into account and a lot of emergency situations that you need to bear in mind. The tips mentioned below can be very useful if you want to make sure that your event is successful.
The most important part of the event is the venue, so it must be selected after much forethought. The venue you choose must be in line with the spirit and essence of the event. You will have to think if you want an indoor venue or an outdoor one, and which location your guests will be most comfortable in. You must ensure that the venue can accommodate the gathering comfortably, and to avoid any risk of shortage of space, it is better to pick a venue having floor space that is more than what you require.
Any event needs a number of employees who can serve food and refreshments or receive them at the gate. The employees have to show good care so that the guests feel easy and comfortable at the event. When you reach the venue to evaluate it, try to study the attitude of the employees towards you and if they are helpful and alert.
Most events have arrangements for offering lunch or dinner, along with snacks to the guests. If the event is for more than 2-3 hours, the standard of food becomes highly important. It is quite normal for the venue to have its own caterer, and otherwise they will be able to suggest to you a reputed external one. The menu must be decided in accordance with the broad preferences of the invited guests who will turn up. It is also a good idea to taste the food before appointing a caterer.
You must never overlook the fact that there will be some danger of an accident at the event. You must see that there are emergency arrangements for a wounded guest to be taken care of promptly. Other arrangements like emergency exits must also be examined so that if there is an outbreak of fire or some other untoward incident then people can be rushed out easily.
Although, there are many other issues that could make or break an event, by keeping in mind these broad suggestions, you would be able to reduce the risks of things going wrong. If it is a big event you are organizing, then it is also judicious to seek professional help in managing it.
Things To Remember When Choosing An Events Company For Team Building Sessions
Posted by Roselyn Clinton in Seminars on August 7th, 2009
Team building events foster better interpersonal relationships among team mates and improve the team’s efficacy and overall performance. These activities are being adopted by organizations throughout the globe and expert events companies now assist you in arranging them.
But you have to be thoughtful of some important things before choosing an events company so that you end up hiring one appropriate for your requirements.
You must first confirm if the events company has prior experience of organizing similar events in other places with success. These events are very different from all other events and there is no utility in picking a company which is yet to comprehend all the nuances involved. Hence, always go for a firm which knows what team building is all about.
Then you must ensure that you are hiring a local firm for the event, whose staff come from the same region. Only a local firm will have employees who will share a cultural affinity with the team members, which is crucial to ensure the success of such events.
The events company must also be able to quickly grasp the work culture of your organization. The goals of your company should be the main considerations during the planning of a team building event. This requires the organizers to comprehend what type of relationship exists between the older and junior members, and members at the same level within the team.
The organizers should also be trained in psychological and organization behaviour disciplines. Ordinary human responses to unfavourable situations, reasons that lead to motivation, and the strategies that click in the corporate social milieu should be known by the organizers.
Themes are an indispensible element of team building events. Hence you must have an idea of the skill of the company in handling different themes and see if the ones provided by it match your requirements. For example, if you are looking for the thrills of an adventurous event, then your events company must have the competency to arrange for such excursions, mange all the risks, and deal with all the vendors.
Lastly, the team members must derive maximum enjoyment out of a successful team building event. For this, the organizer’s disposition and persona has to be considered. The organizer must be amicable and friendly and should be able to spread a good sense of humour in the group. This will help employees to lighten up and get revived, and they will always welcome any more such sessions in the future. At the same time this will increase the efficacy of the event greatly.
The Christian That Is Two Faced
Posted by Capusan, Daniel in Christian Books on August 7th, 2009
Sadly, a large number of Christians are found to be different in their houses or with their friends than at their place of worship.
Average Christians are well behaved when hanging out with other followers of Jesus. They profess a desire and a zeal to better know God and fellowship with fellow believers. They come across as having great insight into God’s word and spiritual issues.
Outside of church, it is a completely different story. Lying and cheating are commonplace. Greed and infidelity are in style. It is however fascinating that the lying, cheating Christian puts forth a great effort to cover this part of his life. He makes sure that those in his church community don’t see this part of his life.
How can Christians live such double lives? First and foremost it is because of the human’s ability to be deceptive. People who have committed heinous crimes were not caught because they were able to deceive society into believing they are normal folks. It is frightening to find out that even family members of of some criminals had no idea about the fact that these persons committed murder and other horrible crimes.
Such killers were indulging a fantasy while living in the real world because of how well they were able to deceive everyone.
Another factor of two faced living has to do with the evil human heart. Sinful actions of the heart, even if not yet committed, are condemned by God.
Consider the word of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. He points out, You have heard that it was said to the people long ago,’Do not murder,’ . . . But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment(Matt. 5:21-22).
In other words, I can boast about not killing but if I get angry with my brother I am two face, and guilty of a similar attitude as that of a killer.
When we get angry we lose control and it often gets us to do things we later regret. Many times, when we get angry with those close to us, we are momentarily numb to the fact that they will be brutalized through our anger. And then we fight such an uphill battle trying to put broken pieces back together.
We must come to the understanding that the things played out in our heart and our mind, are the same as the actions themselves, in the sight of God.
The tendency toward horrible things in our minds, makes us people living two lives, even if the outside of our life seems to be going fine.
Malachy, Mayan Calendar, Pope Prophecies Correlating To 2012 or 2017?
Posted by Cyndi Whittel in Bible on August 1st, 2009
Interestingly enough, for all the talk about 2012, it is quite difficult to find a simple listing of all the prophecies. Most of what you find on the Internet is vague generalizations of mass destruction or a transformation into a new age. I was able to find a couple decent sources, and I have listed them below. What I found odd was the ability to correlate more information about 2017 than 2012 using several different resources.
So now we’ve got Israel and Iran butting heads, who knows what’s next. Is this “nation rising against nation” from the book of REV? I happened to go on youtube and read a comment left by a person who claims to have visited the Mayan civilization while on vacation who stated that they have no calendar that ends on 2012. They said the Mayans didn’t know where the rumor was started. I found several links which seemed to correlate everything with the year 2017 as some sort of new beginning.
If you find this interesting you should also be able to find other links within these links on the video below. Malachy Prophecy of the popes states there would be 112 popes before the “end” would come. He named each pope. We are on the 111th now and very close to the year 2017.
112 popes prophecy and we’re on 111 now and close to the year 2017? St. Malachy prophecy:
St. Malachy prophecy: Many scholars of St. Malachy’s Prophecy believed that Pope # 111 would be ” Olive’s Glory” because he will be of the Order of St. Benedictine. Here are the prophecies of Malachy: The Last 10 Popes 1. “The Burning Fire”. PIUS X. 1903-1914. This Pope showed a burning passion for spiritual renewal in the Church. 2. “Religion Laid Waste”. BENEDICT XV. 1914-1922. During this Pope’s reign saw Communism move into Russia where religious life was laid waste, and World War I with the death of millions of Christians who were carnage in Flanders Field and elsewhere. 3. “Unshaken Faith”. PIUS XI. 1922-1939. This Pope faced tremendous pressure from fascist and sinister powers in Germany and Italy, but he was an outspoken critic of Communism and Fascism which enraged Hitler. 4. “An Angelic Shepherd”. PIUS XII. 1939-1958. This Pope had an affinity for the spiritual world and received visions which have not been made public. Peter Bander says Pius XII “has emerged as one of the great Popes of all time,” and he “was in the truest sense of the word an Angelic Pastor to the flock…” 5. “Pastor and Mariner”. JOHN XXIII. 1958-1963. John was a pastor to the world, much beloved, and the Patriarch of Venice. The connection to “mariner” is thus remarkable. 6. “Flower of Flowers”. PAUL VI. 1963-1978. Paul’s coat-of-arms depicts three fleurs-de-lis, corresponding to Malachy’s prophecy. His coat of arms included three fleurs-de-lis (iris blossoms). 7. “Of the Half Moon”. JOHN PAUL I. 1978-1978. John Paul I was elected Pope on August 26, 1978, when there was a half moon. He reigned 33 days, that is, about one month, when he died, although many think he was murdered. He was the 109th Pope – is “De Medietate Lunae” (Of the Half Moon). The corresponding pope was John Paul I (1978-78), who was born in the diocese of Belluno (beautiful moon) and was baptized Albino Luciani (white light). He became pope on August 26, 1978, when the moon appeared exactly half full. It was in its waning phase. He died the following month, soon after an eclipse of the moon. 8. “The Labor of the Son”. oJOHN PAUL II. 1978-2005. Pope John Paul II was the most traveled Pope in history. He circled the globe numerous times, preaching to huge audiences everywhere he went. He survived an assassination attempt. He has written a book which has enjoyed a large circulation. Like the sun which never ceases to labor and provides light daily, this Pope has been incessant. He was born on May 18, 1920. On that date in the morning there was a near total eclipse of the sun over Europe. Prophecy – The 110th Pope is “De Labore Solis” (Of the Solar Eclipse, or, From the Toil of the Sun). Like the sun he came out of the East (Poland). 9. “The Glory of the Olive”. The Order of St. Benedict has said this Pope will come from their order. It is interesting that Jesus gave his apocalyptic prophecy about the end of time from the Mount of Olives. This Pope will reign during the beginning of the tribulation Jesus spoke of. The 111th prophesy is “Gloria Olivae” (The Glory of the Olive). The Order of Saint Benedict has claimed that this pope will come from their ranks. Saint Benedict himself prophesied that before the end of the world his Order, known also as the Olivetans, will triumphantly lead the Catholic Church in its fight against evil. 10. “PETER THE ROMAN” – On several blogs this pope is thought to be Satan??! taking the form of a man named Peter who will gain a worldwide allegiance and adoration. He will be the final antichrist which prophecy students have long foretold. If it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. The 112th prophesy states: “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Petrus Romanus, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End.” Malachy’s final words, “Rome, the seat of the Vatican, will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.”
MSNBC ran a news story about a possible cashless society by 2017.
‘Can a microscopic tag be implanted in a person?s body to track his every movement? We are talking about that up here [Capitol Hill] and? you will rule on that!? – 2008 Vice President Joe Biden
Daniel’s Timeline ends in 2017: ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHEN? There is a multitude of verses from the most ancient of all books concerning the Lords return and even an admonishment from Him saying:
There is a multitude of verses concerning the Lords return and even an admonishment from Him saying, Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that you do not discern this time?
That one verse should be proof enough that we should know, but He is not just going to spell it out. We also know there are NO idle words in the Word of God. If therefore, it is not meant for us to understand or know the time of His coming, wouldn’t all the verses with clues pertaining to the time of His return be counted as idle words? Here are only a few of many verses telling us that God will teach us all things; He will show us things that are to come which includes the return of His Son; And God says and He will show His servants things that must shortly be done. In Daniel, We are given a definite sequence of years that can now be understood. Just being able to understand things that have been a mystery for centuries should be a huge clue to us that time is short and approaching when all things will be finished.
On another note, you may wish to watch this psychic’s videos on her youtube page: name, ‘worldpsychic’ on youtube in which she makes predictions about the coming decade 2010-2019. Apparently these were made in 2004 or 2005. One of her videos she describes a “black pig” with a cross painted on this pig. Which she later describes is now swine flu.
Daniel’s Prophetic Timeline – An amazing 27% of the Bible is prophecy and 20% of the books of the Bible are prophetic. The existence of Jesus Christ is an historical fact so why should we ignore the prophecies of His Second Coming if it is mentioned almost twice as much as His First? Revelation 19:10 says, “The essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.” Prophecy is all about Christ and we are told to watch and pray for the Lords return. Keep in mind, parts of Daniel’s time line may turn out to be right, parts may prove wrong. Like I said before, Bible prophecy is a difficult subject. Thats why I say, if someone tells you that they have 100 percent proof for what they teach about Bible prophecy, dont believe them. There are many things we wont know for sure until all the prophecies are fulfilled and our Lord returns from heaven.
End of the world predictions have been common throughout Christianity and other religions for almost 2000 years.

In conclusion, Christians have predicted several events that many believe are related: the second coming of Jesus, the war of Armageddon, the arrival on earth of the Antichrist, the Tribulation, the rapture, some horrendous natural disaster, etc. We have been criticized by some of our readers for whipping up hysteria about the end of the world. Our intent is the exact opposite: we would like to lessen the level of panic. We hope that by listing many of the past predictions that people will realize that some very important individuals have been totally wrong when they predicted the end of the world.
End of the world predictions have been common throughout Christianity and other religions for almost 2000 years. Here are a few predictions that didn’t come true: 1998 to 2012 Gordon-Michael Scallion predicted major catastrophic earth events: global warming, melting polar ice caps, earthquakes, volcanoes erupting, etc. Well, we’re not experiencing these right now and it’s 2009. 21st century: Thomas Chase predicted that when the world’s population reaches 6.66 billion, the war of Armageddon may occur. The population has already passed this number. Before 2019: Tathagata predicted in 1999 that the end of the world as we know it will happen within the next twenty years. an imbalance in gravity will cause the disappearance of all civilizations by a 1000 meter high tsunami, as well as earthquakes, volcanoes and “crustal formations. … Most of creatures are to be exterminated.” Here are the 2017 common predictions: The “Sword of God Brotherhood” believes that Armageddon will occur in the year 2017. The Prophet Gabriel has told them this. Only their own members will survive to re-populate the entire world. All of the others (including you and me) will “perish in hellfire.” Daniel’s Time Line bases their calculation on the concept of Jubilee years which occur every 50 years. The most recent three Jubilees were: 1867 when the Jews were emancipated in Austria and Hungary. 1917 when the Ottomon rule ended and the Balfour Declaration was created. 1967 when the Six Day War occurred. They predict that the next and final Jubilee yr will be 2017, “the time of the restitution of all things.” There is every likelihood that most (perhaps all) of these future predictions will never materialize. We will be very surprised if one of them did. The sole purpose of this article is to provide general internet links and interesting information. It does not reflect the views of the author.

Dear tertius
Thank you for yor e-mail. We are aware of your concerns regarding advertisments placed in our Volwasse Vermaak/Adult Entertainment section in our Classified section of our newspapers. It is not the newspapers intent to promote adultery or any other forms of adult activities.
The newspapers only provide the space for advertisers to advertise their product or servives. The advertiser would immediately stop to advertise, if there were no need for this type of services. The fact is that our newspapers build a actual mirror of our society and the people living in our community. It is true that SALT represents people with Christian moral values. We at the newspaper serve a diverse community with different taste, moral values and believes. According to SA’s constitution one group may not prescibe another how they should run their lives.
We have moved this section to the last heading (99) before the vacancies to make the accessibility more difficult and we will take care that the advertisments are in good taste.

Hennie

As part of a Christian community, we oppose all forms of adultery and fornication in our community. Advertising such services promotes practices which we consider to be very serious transgressions according to the Word of God. One way to oppose such practises is to make the accessibility and visibility difficult.
Many Churches and Christians in the community feels the same about this issue. We would appreciate it if you could remove this section from your newspapers (Vaal Weekblad and the other Ster Newspapers the Vaal Triangle).
I write to you as part of the Salt Again online community in our area.
We await your response.
Can you give us your feedback on the issue at hand please.
Regards,
Tertius Bester
